Bricks Honor Veterans
Vienna’s American Legion Post 180 adds to Walk of Honor.
IN 2003, the first inscribed bricks, engraved with the names of veterans, were installed in the Walk of Honor at Dyer Gunnell American Legion Post 180 hall on Center Street. For more than six years, inscribed paver bricks replaced blank ones as the dedications grew to 210. On Saturday, Nov. 7, American Legion officers and members replaced eight blank bricks with engraved ones in a respectful program attended by 23 people.
